How this test is scored
Brain's Quotient is a visual reasoning activity with 35 questions. Its score describes performance on this question set. It is not a diagnosis, a certified IQ assessment, or a qualification for any organisation.
From answers to a score
- Each correct answer earns one point, for a total from 0 to 35.
- Incorrect and unanswered questions earn zero points. There is no penalty.
- Your selected age band (under 18, 18–50, 51–60, or 61 and over) chooses one of four fixed conversion tables.
- The table converts the number correct into a score and a table percentile. Totals below the table's first entry display “less than 85”; its highest entries display “145 or higher”.
The timer allows 25 minutes plus a five-second buffer. Finishing faster does not add points. When time expires, the answers already selected are submitted.
What the numbers can tell you
This site's scoring documentation provides no representative norming study, reliability study, or independent validation for these tables. The table percentile is a stored conversion value, not a ranking calculated from current visitors. It should not be read as evidence that you outperform that percentage of the population.
Use the activity for personal interest and practice. Do not use its result for clinical, educational placement, or employment decisions. Repeating familiar questions can change your performance without establishing a change in general ability.
Free ranges and detailed results
Taking the test is free. The result option shown before you start explains whether this version provides a free score range or a free detailed result. When a paid detailed result is offered, checkout shows the price before you pay. Payment reveals the table result; it does not make the assessment more accurate or certified.
Results are saved in the browser where you took the test. Clearing site data or taking another test can replace them. Keep your detailed-result return link to reopen it in that browser. Shared links display a score category, not a verified individual record.
